One of my favourite late night listening CDs. It draws you in from the first note and takes you on a wonderful musical journey and an emotional rollercoaster ride. There are contrasting and complementary tracks and I defy anybody not to be moved by the title track, La Lunga Notte, Weird Nightmare and the sublime Mi Piace.
My congratulations to the London Jazz Ensemble on this debut CD and Aldevis on his compositions and dulcet saxophone tones.
